Hampton Inn and Suites by Hilton La Grande

Stayed for one night. Quiet location and clean and well kept. Please keep it this way. Breakfast is the typical Hampton Inn breakfast, which is the same at all of their locations so lower your expectations. Room was clean and everything worked.

I had an excellent stay at the Hilton Inn that was recommended by my friend Ivy. The **check-in process was quick and effortless**, which made my arrival smooth and stress-free. The **breakfast area was exceptionally clean**, and the food was fresh and well-organized—truly a great way to start the day. Overall, wonderful service and a pleasant experience. I would definitely stay here again!

Where to start with this review?! The hotel is newly build & beautiful! We found our King studio suite to be spacious, clean & well laid out with many storage touches. The front desk lady at check in was friendly & informative. I did read the reviews before booking about people being charged for damages. So, I was much more careful about checking & documenting the damage to our room when we got there. And I’ve gotta say, what are some of you people doing in there?! This hotel is only a few months old & I found many items damaged that really shouldn’t be yet. Who’s kid or dog jumped so hard on the couch it snapped a leg off & then you just stuck it back under like a prop? Who dropped something so heavy it broke a large tile in a brand new bathroom? Who stained & possibly burnt the bathroom counter? Then there are the more minor things that happen in all dog/pet friendly rooms over time, the carpet that got scratched up or chewed at a corner when a dog was likely left unattended, the corner of the bed boxspring that was scratched by a dog or cat, the top on the ac unit under a window where a pup likely spend lot of time staring out & people watching. The stains on the carpet from accidents, dirty paws or spilled foods. We travel across the country regularly, bringing our small Poodle mix with us. We’ve seen all kinds of damage in pet friendly rooms. I almost didn’t book this hotel because of the reviews on people being charged $250 for room damage. But it was a new beautiful hotel in a remote area that fit our needs perfectly so I rolled the dice & booked it. I’m glad I did. It did fit our needs perfectly. But I was very surprised at how much damage was carelessly done to this brand new hotel room by other guests. Do better people, do better. Accidents happen but so many on here are complaining about being charged & I’m looking at the extreme damage like yeah, some of you do deserve that charge. Sorry it’s just a fact. Our dog is 7 & he’s been to 21 states. We stay in Airbnb’s & hotels depending on what suits us & have never had him “damage” anything. We clean up his spills & dirt from dirty paws, we crate him if we need to leave him alone (which usually isn’t often or for long, usually to go get food), we bring toys to keep him occupied, we’re just considerate. It seems like a lot of people have lost that. This hotel & staff are great, really quite the find for this rural & remote location. Highly recommend. A bonus was a distant view of the mountains from our room & being able to park right in front of our rooms big windows to keep track of our vehicles that were loaded with stuff as we were relocating across the country. *If you find damage in your room at check in take pictures & show the front desk, they may have you email them to the hotel for a record of it. Which is what I did. Hope this review helps people decide if this hotel is a good fit for their travels. It was great for us!

I stayed in this hotel a few weeks ago picking up a horse with a friend. I realized I had lost my iPad , I searched for it and it was at the hotel . We called and they had it and they went over and above getting it back to me ups, the staff was so helpful and polite , if I am ever in the area , I wouldn’t hesitate to stay here , the room was great too , very clean. Bonus when the front desk clerk saw we leaving early before breakfast , they have bagged snacks that we were able to take with us !

This hotel has that new hotel look and feel while still feeling like a Hampton. It was very nice. While the price of this Hampton was quite high compared to other locations, I was worried about the La Grande’s hotel options not meeting our ‘Hampton’ hotel standards so we still choose to stay here. The room was nice. New and clean. Comfortable bed. Nice sheet. Both feather and synthetic pillow option so you can choose which to sleep on. And lots of hooks in the entry and bathroom. The swimming pool and pool deck looked nice and looked like it had nice stairs into the pool. It’s unfortunate they didn’t include a hot tub in the build. Breakfast was spacious with all the Hampton standard offerings.

The staff is exceptionally friendly and attentive, always going above and beyond to make guests feel welcome. The breakfast is consistently delicious, offering a delightful variety of options that cater to every palate. The rooms are not only spotless but also generously sized, providing a comfortable and inviting space to relax after a day of exploring.

Our truck broke down and we needed a last minute, late night, dog friendly hotel to stay at. We’re so glad we chose the Hampton Inn and Suites. All staff members were incredibly helpful and friendly. The room and accommodations were so nice! Great hospitality, like a welcome sign with our name on the tv, such a nice touch, and the breakfast was really good! Walkability was convenient since we didn’t have a car, too. I wish we could have stayed a second night!

I read a lot of reviews for the La Grand area’s hotel offerings and decided that there weren’t any good options… but Hampton Inn & Suites’ pet policy led me to try a stay with them, especially because I do usually stay in a Hilton property. Boy am I glad I did. The hotel is brand new - it opened officially in February of 2025. From the pristine parking lot, to the bright & light entry/front desk area, to the plentiful seating & tables in the first floor, it was all first class. Amy was so personable and friendly, a credit to the Hilton brand. She got us checked in quickly, answered several questions we had about the area and was quick to help later in the day as needs arose. The rooms boast very comfortable mattresses, sheet, and pillows. The AC will drop the room down to almost arctic temps - just the way I prefer it. The rooms and spacious, clean and smell fresh (even the hallways smell brand new) and bathrooms come equipped with a small built in night light. That’s important to me so as to not be so bright it keeps me awake but bright enough I don’t stub my toe on the way to the bathroom mid night. Thank god I didn’t listen to the poor reviews (some people just aren’t happy unless they aren’t happy) because I would definitely stay here again. Thanks Amy!
